Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
MEOWICS keeps cookie use minimal — limited to what's needed to keep you signed in and the site secure.
1. What cookies we use
We only use strictly necessary cookies — the kind required for the site to function and that don't need consent under most cookie laws. We don't currently use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Session cookie — set when you sign in, this keeps you authenticated as you navigate the site and Studio. It's removed when you sign out or it expires.
- CSRF protection cookie — a security token used to protect forms (like login and signup) from cross-site request forgery attacks.
- Callback URL cookie — a short-lived cookie used during sign-in to return you to the page you were on.
2. Why we don't ask for cookie consent
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service you've requested (signing in, staying signed in, and basic security), they're exempt from cookie-consent requirements under most privacy laws, including the GDPR's ePrivacy rules. We don't set any cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics. Since there's nothing non-essential to opt into, we show a one-time notice on your first visit explaining this rather than an accept/reject prompt — there's no optional cookie to accept or reject.
3. Controlling cookies
Because we only use necessary cookies, blocking them will prevent you from staying signed in or using features that require authentication. You can still clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time — just be aware this will sign you out of MEOWICS.
4. Third parties on this site
Payments are processed by Stripe, which may set its own cookies during checkout to prevent fraud. Stripe acts as an independent controller for that data — see Stripe's own privacy and cookie disclosures for details. We don't embed third-party advertising or social-media tracking widgets on MEOWICS.
5. Changes to this policy
If our cookie usage changes — for example, if we add analytics in the future — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above, and add a consent mechanism if required by law.
6. Related policies
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data more broadly, and our Terms of Service for the rules governing your use of MEOWICS.
